Magic[]
Dragon Race Arts: A set of Dragon-like techniques used by members of the Dragon Race such as Let and Julia. They are confused by Natsu to be some form of Dragon Slayer Magic.[1]
- Flame Dragon Drought (炎竜旱天 Enryū Kanten): Let expels flames from his mouth, incinerating everything in their path. It is identical to Fire Dragon's Roar in all but name and origin.[2]
Dragon Force (ドラゴンフォース Doragon Fōsu): A transformation accessible to Dragon Slayers that changes their appearance and strengthens their overall abilities.[3]
Dragon Slayer Magic (滅竜魔法 Metsuryū Mahō): A type of Magic that bestows its users with the attributes of Dragons, namely elemental powers and heightened senses such as smell and hearing. Those who practice this Magic, such as Natsu and Wendy, are known as Dragon Slayers (滅竜魔道士 Doragon Sureiyā).
- Fire Dragon Slayer Magic (炎の滅竜魔法 Honō no Metsuryū Mahō): A form of Dragon Slayer Magic that allows its user, Natsu, to create and manipulate fire.[4]
- Fire Dragon's Roar (火竜の咆哮 Karyū no Hōkō): Natsu expels flames from his mouth, incinerating everything in their path.[5]
- Fire Dragon's Claw (火竜の鉤爪 Karyū no Kagizume): Natsu cloaks his foot in flame and kicks his opponent.[6]
- Fire Dragon's Iron Fist (火竜の鉄拳 Karyū no Tekken): Natsu punches his opponent with an ignited fist, creating an explosion on impact.[7]
- Fire Dragon's Sword Horn (火竜の劍角 Karyū no Kenkaku): Natsu expels flames from his feet and launches himself towards his opponent, ramming them with a headbut.[8]
- Crimson Lotus: Phoenix Blade (紅蓮鳳凰剣 Guren Hōōken): Natsu charges his energy to perform a devastating fire attack.[9]
- Sky Dragon Slayer Magic (天の滅竜魔法 Ten no Metsuryū Mahō): A form of Dragon Slayer Magic that grants the powers of air, wind, and healing onto its user, Wendy.
The Knight (騎士 Za Naito): This Magic allows its user, Erza, to Requip weapons and armor that she stores in a pocket dimension.[12]
Ice-Make (氷の造形魔法 Aisu Meiku): This Magic allows its user, Gray, to freeze others and conjure ice in the shape of objects.[13]
Celestial Spirit Magic (星霊魔法 Seirei Mahō): A form of Magic that Lucy uses to summon Celestial Spirits from another world to fight on her behalf.[14]
Perfume Magic (香り魔法 Parufamu Majikku): A form of Magic that is utilized through enchanted perfumes, used by Ichiya.[15]
- Power Perfume (力の香り Chikara no Parufamu): Ichiya uses a perfume that vastly enhances his muscular structure and physical strength.[15]
Heavenly Body Magic (天体魔法 Tentai Mahō): A form of Magic that harnesses the powers of astronomical objects. Genesis is able to use this Magic through Oasis's power.[16][17]
- Meteor (流星 Mītia): Genesis transforms his body in light and moves about at incredible speeds, allowing him to rapidly strike his opponents with great force.[18]
- Thirds Asterism (三角の星 Sāzu Asuterizumu): Genesis creates three simultaneous bursts of light connected by lasers to form a triangle, attacking multiple enemies at separate points.[19]
- Sema (星座崩し): Genesis summons a massive meteor from the heavens to fall and obliterate everything it connects with.[20]
- Grand Chariot (七星剣 Guran Shario): Genesis places his hands together and summons seven beams of light to crash into the enemy, rending the earth.[21]
Transformation Magic (変身魔法 Henshin Mahō): A type of Magic that allows its user to change their physical form.[22]
Etherion (エーテリオン Ēterion): A recurring element from multiple stories. In Haru's story, it is a special power possessed by Elie, while in Shiki's story, it is the Edens Zero's top secret weapon known only by the Four Shining Stars.[23]
Items[]
Rave: A holy stone used by the Rave Master, Haru Glory, that harbors the power to destroy Dark Brings. It is embedded in Haru's sword, the Ten Commandments.[24]
Ten Commandments: Haru's weapon, a sword that harnesses the power of Rave to assume different forms with their own unique powers.[25][24]
- Eisenmeteor: A large, iron sword that is capable of knocking multiple enemies away.[24] It is the default form of Haru's sword.[25]
- Explosion (爆発の剣 Ekusupurōjon): A sword that creates powerful explosions on impact.[26]
- Explosive Dragon Combo: Dual Explosion (爆・竜連携 デュアルエクスプロージョン Baku Ryūrenkei: Dyuaru Ekusupurōjon): Haru splits Explosion into two swords and attacks his opponent with a massive blast.[27]
- Silfarion (音速の剣 Shirufarion): A sword that allows Haru to move and attack enemies at superhuman speed.[28]
- Blue Crimson (双竜の剣): A pair of swords split from the original that are cloaked in fire and ice, respectively.[29]
- Rune Save (封印の剣): A sword with the ability to cut through Magic, negating its effects.[8]
- Gravity Core (重力の剣): A sword capable of generating a powerful gravitational field.[30]
- Ravelt: Haru's ultimate sword, a holy blade that draws out the full power of Rave.[31]
Tonfa Blasters (ガンズトンファー Ganzu Tonfā, lit. "Guns Tonfas"): A pair of tonfas used by Elie that fire magical bullets.[25][32][33]
Silver Claiming: An alchemical technique that allows its user, Musica, to change the shape of silver objects.[28]
- Silver Ray (シルバーレイ Shirubā Rei): Musica transforms his silver necklace into a spear, allowing him to take down multiple enemies at once.[28]
Dark Bring (ダークブリング Dāku Buringu): An evil stone that gives its user special powers, but also steeps their heart in darkness, corrupting them.[34] It is also capable of influencing people in the nearest vicinity if the user is not affected.[35] It is Haru's duty as the Rave Master to travel the world and destroy Dark Brings wherever he can find them.[34]
- Oasis (オアシス Oashisu): This Dark Bring is a "fountain of dreams" that grants its holder the ability to turn anything from their imagination into reality, including people, creatures, and techniques.[36] The actual form of the Dark Bring is True Island itself,[37] and its power can be harnessed through a smaller stone.[38] This stone used by Mashymre for benevolent purposes until it is stolen by his disciple, Shinra, who uses it to become Genesis.[36][35]
HEROS (HEROS Hīrōzu): A mechanical orb with a navigational system that helps others find their friends and acquaintances; its name is an anagram for "Helix Effect Radical Operation Searcher".[39] It is constructed by Weisz to serve as a "secret weapon" against Genesis,[40] and allows Haru, Natsu, and Shiki's allies to reunite within Altairis.[41]

Celestial Spirit Gate Keys: Celestial Spirit Gate Keys are Magic Items utilized by Celestial Spirit Mages to summon Celestial Spirits.[14]
- Gate of the Giant Crab Key: One of Lucy's Celestial Spirit Gate Keys that allows her to summon the spirit Cancer.
Fleuve d'étoiles: (星の大河 Etowāru Furūgu): Fleuve d'étoiles is an extendable whip used by Lucy.[42]
Demon Blade Benizakura (妖刀紅桜 Yōtō Benizakura): A katana wielded by Erza when she dons her Clear Heart Clothing.[3]

Clear Heart Clothing (清心の衣 Seishin no Koromo): A set of clothes consisting of a white sarashi and red hakama.[43]
Heart Kreuz Armor (ハートクロス鎧 Hāto Kurosu Yoroi): Erza's casual armor, which she is mostly seen wearing.[44]

Team Natsu: The strongest team in Fairy Tail, which is otherwise unnamed. It is spearheaded by Natsu.
Crew of Edens: The crew of the spaceship Edens Zero, led by Shiki in a voyage to find Mother, the Goddess of the Cosmos.
- Demon King's Four Shining Stars: A team of female androids built to serve the Demon King of Edens Zero.
Rave Warriors: A group that accompanies the Rave Master, Haru, on his quest to find the Rave Stones and restore peace to the world.
Jiggle Butt Gang (ケツプリ団 Ketsupuri-dan): A "world-famous" trio of bandits who are distinguished by their large posteriors and black bodysuits.[46]
Locations[]
True Island (トゥルーアイランド Turū Airando): A tropical island where the truth of the world is rumored to be found.[47] It is the true form of the Dark Bring Oasis, brought into existence when Mashymre's creative powers ran wild,[37] and serves as a junction between Haru, Natsu, and Shiki's worlds.[48] The island resembles the letter "M" from overhead.[49]
- Altairis (暗黒の楽園 Altearisu): A castle constructed by Genesis with Oasis's power from parts of True Island, also known as the "castle of imagination". It shares its name with a Heavenly Body Magic attack used by Jellal.[50]
Fiore (フィオーレ Fiōre): A country and kingdom in Natsu's world where he and his friends live.[51]
- Magnolia Town (マグノリア Magunoria): The city where the Fairy Tail guildhall is located.[52]
- Balsam Village (ホウセンカの村 Hōsenka no Mura): A famous spa town in Fiore that located in the way West of Magnolia Town. This is the last stop of the Three Secret Hot Spring Tour.[51]
Maga (マガ Maga): A temple where gods of creation such as Mashymre convene to draw stories.[53]
Sakura Cosmos (桜宇宙 Sakura Kosumosu): A sector of space in Shiki's world where he and his friends live.[48]
Symphonia Continent (シンフォニア大陸 Shinfonia Tairiku): A continent that exists within Haru and his friends' world.[54]
Spa of Eden (エデンの湯 Eden no Yu): An Ether-activating bath that is located within the spaceship Edens Zero. This is the second stop of the Three Secret Hot Spring Tours.[55]
Song Continent (ソング大陸 Songu Tairiku): A continent in Haru and his friends' world, which has an open hot spring located in the south of the continent. This is the first stop of the Three Secret Hot Springs Tour.[56]

Ether Gear (エーテルギア Ēteru Gia): A technique that allows its user to reconfigure the flow of Ether in their body like a machine, giving them superhuman abilities. It is assumed by Natsu Dragneel to be some form of Magic, though this is denied by Shiki Granbell.[57]
- Gravity Ether Gear (重力のエーテルギア Jūryoku no Ēteru Gia): A form of Ether Gear that allows its user, Shiki, to alter the strength and direction of gravity for themselves and others. This includes the ability to walk on upside-down surfaces, float in midair, "fall" sideways to move at great speeds, and generate orbs of gravity that increase the weight and force of the user's attacks.[58]
- Magimech Attack: Gravity Fist (魔械流 重拳 Makai-ryū: Jūken): Shiki increases the weight of his fist and punches his opponent with incredible force.[59]
- Magimech Attack: Gravity Bullets (魔械流 重弾 Makai-ryū: Jūdan): Shiki creates bullets of condensed gravitational energy from his knuckles and fires them towards his opponent.[7][27]
- Magimech Attack: Gravity Center (魔械流 重心 Makai-ryū: Jūshin): Shiki increases his own weight to the point of shattering and breaking through the surface he stands on.[60]
- Gravity Comet (重彗星 Jūsuisei): Shiki falls with his arm outstretched towards his opponent like a comet, creating a gravity field around them.[30]
- Soul Blade: A form of Ether Gear used by Homura to create swords of solid Ether.[61]
- Machina Maker: A form of Ether Gear that allows its user, Weisz, to manipulate machinery.[40]
B-Cube: A cubical video-recording device that Rebecca wears around her neck.[62]
Edens Zero (エデンズ ゼロ Edenzu Zero): An interstellar warship that is used by the Crew of Edens to explore the cosmos. Its existence is kept a secret from the denizens of Earth Land, since the knowledge of space-travel would upend the planet's "primitive" culture.[63]

- Hiro Mashima created the manga to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Weekly Shōnen Magazine's first publication.
- Mashymre's name is a corruption of Hiro Mashima's family name.
- Genesis is Mashima's fourth derivative character based on Sieg Hart from Rave Master, following Jellal Fernandes and Mystogan in Fairy Tail, and Justice in Edens Zero.
- The first letter of each chapter title and the second letter of chapter 10's title, form Hiro Mashima's full name.
- In Chapter 9, Hiro Mashima references other manga artist Kei Sasuga, Koji Seo, Yuji Terajima, and George Morikawa.
- The side story "HEROINE'S Three Secret Hot Springs Adventure Record" is the only chapter that was never released in English and therefore was removed from the English version of the volume.
